The Trendnet TEW-455APBO 14 dBi High Power Wireless Outdoor PoE Access Point (Version v2.0R/v2.1R/v2.2R) provides secure Super G building-to-building wireless network access in a durable, all-weather outdoor housing. This rugged, UV-resistant aluminum enclosure with mounting brackets features an IP66/67 waterproof rating. The housing and the device's built-in antenna are designed to handle extreme weather conditions. The device provides support for Access Point, Wireless Distribution System (WDS), and Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) modes. You can add extra high-gain antennas for extended range projects.
The access point is powered by an Ethernet cable with Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology. The flexibility provided by this feature works together with remote network management and SNMP support to make this access point a great device for building-to-building networking.
