This Ape Case TD140 Monopod is an excellent alternative to carrying a tripod when you want to save weight and you don't need to use exceptionally long exposures. This 6.4 oz support extends up to 4.34' (1.32 m) and folds down to a very manageable 15.79" (40.1 cm) and fits into the included soft carrying case for easy storage and transport. The TD140 will support up to 3.3 lb (1.5 kg).

I use this monopod to shoot sports, especially in low light. It is a real help, lightweight and compact. With full size section clutches, it is secure and length adjustable to suit. The included carry sheath is a nice touch, too. I recommend it without hesitation.
