This Rodenstock Rodagon 50mm f/2.8 Lens by Horseman has had a long and well-deserved reputation as a workhorse in the darkroom. Like many benchmark products, the 50 mm Rodagon has transcended its original use to emerge as an excellent macro lens for SLRs as well a great taking lens for CCD cameras when used with Rodenstock's Modular-Focus adapter.
The lens features a 6 element design that ensures tack-sharp edge-to-edge performance, illuminated f/stops and a 2-20x magnification range with optimum performance achieved at 10x, 2 stops down from maximum aperture.
