The affordable and portable Aiptek A-HDK 720p HD Digital Camcorder records up to 1280 x 720p HD video at 30 frames per second and it's also capable of capturing 3, 5 and 8-megapixel still images as well. The camcorder features 30MP of internal memory, but there's also an SD/MMC card reader that can support up to a 32GB memory card. The A-HDK is designed to fit nicely in the palm of your hand and it's easy to use due to the limited, but highly useful features. These include a 4x digital zoom, Night Shot for low light shooting and a 2.4" LCD display that actually swivels 270° for shooting from down low or up high. You'll be able to see it all from any angle. The LCD display is also great for playback.
Not only is the A-HDK a camcorder and digital camera, but it also acts as a personal media player. You can record movies or shows from your TV, VCR, DVD player or any other device with RCA outputs for viewing anytime, anywhere. Plus, when it's time to power up your camcorder, simply plug it into your computer's USB slot using the included USB cable for charging or charge it using a wall socket with the included AC adapter. The camcorder also features a flash strobe with a red eye reduction function that reduces the reflection of light into the eyes of your subjects. For sharing your video clips or digital still with friends and family, the A-HDK is equipped with an HDTV component output. Plus, it comes with a component cable as well. This feature lets you view your footage on an HDTV in up to 720p high-definition. The A-HDK is affordable, easy to operate, and it offers a quick and handy way to capture the special moments you want to always be able to look back on - in HD.

Comments about Aiptek A-HDK 720p HD Digital Camcorder:
I purchased this specifically because it had a video in port (which is hard to find) and it is inexpensive. I use it with my underwater fish camera to record what I am viewing on the monitor since there is no record feature on it. I'm extremely pleased with it for this purpose. However, I would not recommend this to take pictures or videos because it has a fixed focus and the video shows every little jiggle you make while holding it.
