The Swann SWDVR-82550H 8 Channel Networking Digital Video Recorder with Smartphone Viewing offers real-time digital video recording and monitoring, allowing you to turn your computer into a surveillance hub. With the pre-installed 500 GB SATA hard drive, you can record for at least 120 days non-stop from 8 cameras and even longer with motion triggered recording.
The DVR8-2550 supports up to D1 resolution and frame rates of up to 120 fps (combined). You can choose from manual, motion, and schedule modes to record videos as per your requirements. Recorded videos can be viewed locally, over the internet or via a 3G smartphone (using the SwannView app). The DVR offers easy configuration to any router with UPnP (Universal Plug n Play) capability. You can transfer the recorded video to a USB flash drive or send it to a server via internet to back up the recorded footage.

i'd like them to make this one at a price point with 8 485 inputs so i didn't have to connect more than 1 PTZ control wire to the same port but this is a nice setup... we use it as backup to another more complicated megapixel DVR. works very well with the Swann 600 tvl cameras we also purchased. very good and without setup hassles.
