The WiFi equipped JVC GZ-GX1 Full HD Everio Camcorder (Black) supports Live Monitoring, Video E-Mail, and Home Detection Monitoring using Android phones/tablets, iPhone, iPad or PC. It shoots Full HD 1920 x 1080 video, as well as AVCHD progressive video. It uses memory card technology to store your recordings and features an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot. The GZ-GX1 has a back-illuminated 1/2.3" 10MP CMOS image sensor, a mini HDMI output and a JVC HD GT lens. The high-quality HD lens supports 10x optical zoom, 15x dynamic zoom and 200x digital zoom in both HD and SD formats. The camcorder has a FALCONBRID engine and a 3.5" LCD touch panel display for easy recording and instant playback. It also supports high-speed video and continuous still recording. Plus, you can use it as an 11 megapixel digital camera with the DSC function.
The GZ-GX1 also features several other user-friendly shooting controls and options. It's equipped with an Optical and Enhanced Advanced Image Stabilizer, as well as Super LoLux. It features Intelligent AUTO and Auto REC. Plus, it supports Time-Lapse REC. The GZ-GX1 has Face Detection technology, K2 technology, Smile Meter / Smile Shot, Pet Detection / Pet Shot, Face Sub-Window, Animation Effect and Silent Mode. It also has an integrated zoom microphone and a totally auto lens cover. With attributes like this, anyone can become a master videographer.

The GZ-GX1 comes with the Everio MediaBrowser 4 software CD-ROM. The PC software allows you to upload your videos quickly, select your favorite scenes and make them even more attractive. If you get done with a recording and can't wait to share it with friends and family, the GZ-GX1's integrated mini HDMI output makes it possible to connect the camcorder directly to your HDTV. - Auto REC

Comments about JVC GZ-GX1 Full HD Everio Camcorder with WiFi (Black):
I bought this ccamcorder because of the WiFi Features, being able to remotely monitor, zoom start and dtop recordings. This allows me to place the camera above a crowd and record without interference.
I was also hoping to be able to use this camera to live stream video, but VidBlaster and Livestream for Producers will not connect and show video via WiFi, the Camera still needs to be attached to the computer with a video capture device.
Image is very crisp and vivid. Large 3.5 inch LCD screen is easy to work with. The many other features is almost overwhelming and will take some time to learn. Wish there was a built in holder for the sylus it is so small I am afraid it will get lost easily.
Transfer of video and pictures is very easy by just placing the memory card in the card reader on my laptop and copying them.
