The 450GB Ultrastar C10K600 Internal Hard Drive from Hitachi is an enterprise-grade solution for your more demanding data storage needs. This drive can store up to 450GB worth of data and comes in a 2.5" form factor. In terms of speed, this drive spins at the swift rate of 10,000rpm and relies upon the similarly fast 6Gbps SAS interface in connecting to a host computer. The drive also utilizes a 64MB buffer for even faster data read and write speeds. With these assets, the drive can transfer data at up to 176MB/s. While this drive can easily handle consumer applications, it can also handle more demanding business applications.
