With a high-quality solid-state drive installed in the Samurai, you're set for high-impact videography – this drive has no moving parts, so you can feel safe in the security of your HD video files. When you're done shooting, install the drive in the included Docking Station and connect it to your Windows or Mac computer via USB 3.0 or FireWire. Your ProRes files will be ready to import directly into any compatible nonlinear editing program (recording files as DNxHD is optional – not included).
In addition, the kit supplies five additional Master Caddies to the two that already come with the Samurai, so you'll have a jump-start on acquiring protective vessels for your sure-to-expand library of hot-swappable drives.
