The Ikan VH7e 7" Monitor With Canon 900 Series Battery Plate is a high definition HDSLR field monitoring solution. It consists of a VH7e 7" HDMI LCD Monitor, a BP2T-C Canon Battery Plate, a camera shoe mount, an AC adapter and 2 composite video cables, plus all necessary hardware.
The VH7e is a high quality, affordable, entry level HD LCD monitor. Equipped with an HDMI, VGA, and dual composite video inputs, the VH7e is sure to meet or exceed the expectations of even the most demanding users. The 7.0" (17.8 cm) monitor boasts a gorgeous 1024 x 600 high definition resolution. It has such features as peaking, advanced guides, blue only, green only, red only and monochrome. The VH7e can be powered with a Canon DV battery (not included) and the provided battery plate, which is compatible with Canon-style 900 Series batteries.

My question is how a videomaker can take adnvantage of this. With a blurry screen a and without a peak focus, the only thing you can wait for, is give a better look to your camera.
