An amenable workhorse in the classroom, the Hitachi BZ-1M Ultimate Interactive Short Throw Projector will increase your effectiveness as an educator, while expanding your reach into tighter and brighter spaces. The BZ-1M is an ultra short throw projector, specially tuned to support widescreen formats. Choosing between auto, standard TV and widescreen aspect ratios is a luxury for both entertainment and educational purposes. For teachers, the BZ-1M eliminates the shadows they've been casting across projection screens for years, as well as reducing distracting ambient light.
The interactive pen lets you select three mode variations. The normal pen mode is best for annotations and freehand, Intelli-pen mode is best for writing notes and drawing shapes, and pointer pen mode works the same as a laser pointer.
A great training tool on its own, the BZ-1M is even more productive when run through a network. From one central computer, you can schedule multiple presentations, send e-mail alerts and even monitor the lamp status. The interactive software allows you write directly onto Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. Collaboration becomes easy and work becomes more efficient, with more done in less time.

- Images are clear, bright and vivid, even in bright classrooms. You can save screen content at any time. In addition to full screen capture, you can also select partial and freehand capture, allowing you to preserve key content for later use

The clever messenger function also allows messages to be sent to multiple projectors instantly or at a specified time, handy for displaying announcements and emergency messages. To make meetings more effective, the multi PC presentation mode lets you display the contents of up to four computers on screen simultaneously
