Comments about Hitachi 4TB Touro Desk DX3 USB 3.0 Hard Disk Drive (Black):
Came well packaged from B&H, and arrived in a timely manner. Drive is quiet and easily transfers data at 50-70 MB/sec in my setup. USB 3.0 is so nice compared to the slowness of trying to do the same thing with USB 2.0.
The only thing I can find fault with is the short 1 year warranty. You can bet I'm going to burn this thing in real good so that if it does have a problem, it will show up before 1 year passes. Hitachi should really up this to a 2 year warranty at least. It would inspire a little more confidence in their product.

Comments about Hitachi 4TB Touro Desk DX3 USB 3.0 Hard Disk Drive (Black):
Cheapest 4TB drive availiable
Same drive as the much more expensive external Hitachi 4TB 5400rpm part 0S03364 for if you are willing to destroy the case to get to the drive.
Jamb a small screwdrive in the seam and twist. The enclosure is cheap plastic and has no screws, was never intended to be opened.
These 4TB drives are also compatable with Synology 1812+ and Qnap 459 Pro II arrays that I own.
Save yourself some cash and get this one instead.
