Comments about Linksys Powerline AV 4-Port Network Adapter Kit:

My wireless worked fine, but was slow when trying to download files from the Internet or my own NAS devices. To get a wired connection, I would have had to run a 50 foot cable, which was out of question. I read a few reviews about various products in this category and settled on Linksys because it promised that it will work even if I connect it to a surge protector. It worked while connected to a surge protector, but was very flaky when I tried to connect other devices. After I moved it to an outlet, it has performed as advertised.
