The RocketRAID 1740 4-Channel PCI SATA II RAID Controller from HighPoint offers optimized performance and features through the use of HighPoint's industry-leading RAID technology. It supports enterprise level features such as Native Command Queuing, staggered drive spin-up and SAF-TE enclosure management support. The RocketRAID 1740 Controller delivers optimum performance with speeds of up to 300 MB/sec per port.
- Backward Compatible to RocketRAID 1740
- The RocketRAID 1740 PCI SATA II RAID Controller is backward compatible to RAID arrays created with HighPoint SATA I RocketRAID 1640 controller. All RAID arrays created on the RocketRAID 1640 can be moved over to the RocketRAID 1740 SATA II PCI RAID Controller. The RAID arrays can be expanded with the new features available in the RocketRAID 1740 such as Online Capacity Expansion and Online RAID Level Migration.
