The Panasonic Panaboard UB-8325 is a 62" digital whiteboard designed for a wide variety of instructional applications. The board is based on a color scanning system that allows the user to store images on a SD memory card or USB key or print them instantly for transport. The unit includes a color output recommended for printing and a USB PC interface with Panasonic Document Management Software. Whether using the Panaboard in one of its interactive modes, or simply writing directly onto one of its panels, everyone watching will finish on the same page, taking away the same set of written information.
This model features RM Easiteach, which facilitates the creation of interactive lessons. It includes over 2000 images, sound/flash files, database and spreadsheet tools, sampler starter curriculum tools and starter content pack.
- Presentations
- Rather than just presenting ideas, you'll be able to interact with your co-workers or students during presentations. Simply use the electronic pen to emphasize and highlight key words and subjects. Even incorporate their comments and feedback. This allows everyone to get involved. Plus, you can save and distribute the collaborated presentation to all the attendees.
- Seminars
- Using the Panaboards interactive software and electronic pen, you can add notes to your presentation. Notes are displayed on the board for all to see, even on your connected PC; all of which is in real-time. Imagine standing in front of the Panaboard and having complete control over your computer and its applications. Click through a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation or go between applications with ease.
- Training
- Sharing information with those in front of you, as well as those on the network, is what it's all about in a training session. As your write on the board, the participants in the audience all see the same training materials. Additionally, once the training session has been completed participants can store the materials for further study.
- Panasonic Document Management Software
- The UB-8325 comes standard with both the Document Manager software, as well as a document viewer utility. Meeting content that appears on the Panaboard screen can become your meeting minutes with notes through the Document Viewer feature. Using Document Manager, you can quickly and easily file and distribute the meeting minutes by converting the file into any one of these common electronic file formats, BMP, TIFF, JPG, PNG and PDF.
- Printer Compatibility
- Panaboards can also work as a PC printer. If you need to print documents during a meeting, the built-in Plug-and-Play USB port makes it easy to print out your documents right from the Panaboard.
- TWAIN Image Scan
- With just one click, you can scan the image on the Panaboard screen as image data to your computer. You can also control the Panaboard operation right from your computer.
- Projector Mode
- Take control of your PC when using the Panaboard projector mode. The easy-to-use drawing tool lets you use its electronic pen to annotate and enhance presentations, spreadsheets, graphs and other projected applications. Screen capturing allows you to save, play, edit and distribute electronic notes and drawing written on the board.
- Whiteboard Mode
- Anything written on the board can be recorded and played back on your PC in the order it was written. An effective tool in training, lectures, and meetings while providing an electronic visual "recap" of the day's events. Additionally, the Panaboard can detect letters and words from handwriting, making it a standard font specified by the user.
- Electronic Board Mode
- You can use the Panaboard just like a traditional whiteboard with dry erase markers. Unlike traditional whiteboards, users can immediately disseminate meeting notes and action plans using its integrated plain paper printer.
- RM Easiteach for Windows
- With RM Easiteach, it's easy to create interactive lessons for the classroom. This program includes over 2000 images, sound/flash files, database and spreadsheet tools, sampler starter curriculum tools and starter content pack.
