I'm using this for web movie watching (Roku), internet access through a wireless/wired router and for updating via the web a Blueray Player and TV. I hooked up a router with the Blue Ray, TV and Roku attached, plugged the Powerline adapter in, it connected to the prior system I had installed automatically and worked on first try. So far there is nothing that I dislike about this adapter.
