I have a desktop computer one story up and through several thick walls from my router. Wifi reception has always been spotty. Since this set uses the electricity in my house I was able to simply connect 1 to the router and nearby electricity and the 2nd one to the computer and nearby electricity. Immediate dramatic improvement.
