The Bosch VDN-240V03-2 Outdoor Color Dome Camera, thanks to its 1/3” high sensitivity CCD sensor and 2.8 to 10.5mm varifocal auto-iris lens (with mechanical day/night filter), produces crystal clear images at resolutions of up to 540 TVL (color) and 580 TVL (B&W) under adequate lighting conditions. In addition, it records footage even at 0.05 lux (color) and 0.005 lux (B&W) illumination.
Depending on ambient lighting, the VDN-240V03-2 camera mechanically switches from color during the daytime to B&W at night. A Super Backlight Compensation feature allows this dome camera to achieve the perfect exposure under strongly backlit conditions and even if the focal object is in motion.
This camera supports a privacy masking function that can conceal up to 4 user configurable zones. Moreover, this unit’s motion detection function with 4 selectable zones further enhances security. The VDN-240V03-2 is encased in a rugged, all-weather IP66-rated aluminum housing for uninterrupted surveillance in the face of adverse weather conditions and even vandals.
