The N53SN-RH71 15.6" Notebook Computer (Silver) from ASUS is a 15.6" notebook computer that is perfect for day-to-day use. The computer features an enhanced Bang & Olufsen ICEpower audio system, which is powered by ASUS SonicMaster technology. Graphics are handled by an nVIDIA GeForce GT 550M graphics card with 2GB of dedicated memory.
The computer features a USB 3.0 port, which is up to ten times faster than USB 2.0. It allows you to use the latest external storage devices that support the USB 3.0 protocol, without having to add an expansion card.
The system is powered by a quad-core 2.2GHz Intel Core i7-2670QM processor, which can be overclocked up to 3.1GHz thanks to the Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. It boasts 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a 750GB 7200rpm hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD burner, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0 port and an HDMI video output. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.

So far I like the machine overall - been using it for a couple of weeks. The processing power and efficiency seems good - performance is what it's supposed to be, it seems.The main negatives so far:Keyboard is OK, not great, still getting used to it -Overall a bit small with keys too close together -And the action is rather light, perhaps too delicate? This I might get used to - But the keys feel like they are not sturdy. As long as they work. I can develop my precision over time.As others have mentioned, the USB ports on either side are right in the front - too close! Why can't they be towards the rear, and/or at the rear of the unit?Same thing with the headphone and mic jacks - anything plugged in is in the way.However the main bummer which is actually surprising to me, is that the speakers totally s*ck. Crisp and clear enough, but unable to handle any sounds with rich powerful bass. They distort nastily with any strong low end. That's a drag for me as I got the machine to work on audio among other things. So, I must use phones or other speakers for any serious listening, or keep the volume very low.Basically I'm pleased with the purchase.(4 stars)

I always have a good experience with your store. I was leary to order a laptop on line, but it came on time and in great shape. The product was a great deal too, i7 processor; tons of ram; nice hard drive, plus the awesome sound system! With a 10 key, it is a little bigger than my current laptop, but I love the 10 key. I bought this computer mainly for school, and secondly to play games such as SWTOR and the upcoming Diablo 3. I have to say that I am in love with it. It is incredibly fast and ninja silent. The one problem is that when it overclocks or when I have too many tabs open it sometimes freezes, but this can happen with a new version if windows so I am not too worried about. The 2yr warranty on it helps.

I have a mobile photo biz, print on site at motorsports events,youth sports,family reunions etc. This lap top has really made my process flow quicker, editing & sending to other computer as well as printers is now alot quicker ! Which means customers in line less time and happier.
