Equipped with a built-in projector, the one-of-a-kind Sony HDR-PJ760V High Definition Handycam Camcorder with Projector (Black) shoots 1920 x 1080 Full HD 60p/24p video, takes 24.1 megapixel still images, and can also project your home movies onto a 100" diagonal projection screen. It features 96GB of embedded flash memory, which provides up to eleven hours of seamless, continuous recording. Plus, the camcorder is equipped with a back-illuminated Exmor CMOS sensor that's ideal for low-light situations. Sony has outfitted the HDR-PJ760V with a 26mm wide angle Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T Lens that supports 10x optical zoom and 17x extended zoom. There's also a 3.0" Xtra Fine LCD touch panel display (921K) with TruBlack technology and a 270° turning angle. The display has a 90° operating angle as well, which affords convenient recording, playback and projection from almost any angle.
The HDR-PJ760V comes loaded with several video enhancing features and functions. It has face detection with voice enhancement and noise reduction. There's a Tracking Focus function that follows selected subjects as you record. Plus, the microphone features 5.1 channel Dolby Digital surround sound for dynamic and vivid surround audio. The camcorder also has Intelligent Auto, which supports 120 different scene combinations. It features wind noise reduction, Golf Shot, Clear Phase speakers and an S-Master digital amplifier for true and dynamic sound.
Sony added a few playback and connection conveniences as well. The HDR-PJ760V features Event Browse, which groups video and stills by each particular recording session automatically. It also has a Highlight Playback function that creates movies with transitions and soundtracks for you automatically. The camcorder comes with expanded audio headphone and microphone jacks, Geotagging with an integrated GPS receiver and NAVTEQ maps. It even comes standard with a built-in flash, as well as an active interface shoe to attach intelligent accessories. With the HDR-PJ760V, you can also use the Direct Copy feature to transfer your HD footage directly to a hard drive without even using a PC. However, if you do want to upload videos onto Facebook and YouTube, the camcorder comes with a built-in USB cable, as well as editing and application software.
