The Satellite P775D-S7144 17.3" Notebook Computer (Platinum) from Toshiba is a desktop replacement notebook computer. It has a large 17.3" TruBrite widescreen display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, which happens to be the standard for HDTVs. The screen also features a 1600 x 900 native resolution supported by integrated AMD Radeon HD 6620G graphics.
The system is powered by a quad-core 1.6GHz AMD A8-3520M processor. It also comes with 6GB of DDR3 RAM, a 750GB 5400rpm hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD burner, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, an integrated webcam and microphone as well as built-in harmon/kardon stereo speakers. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.

Purchased as a desktop replacement primarily for music, video and web. Easily set-up wireless and Bluetooth devices and even established a dial-up connection through a cellular network via Bluetooth. Rips music quickly and the Harman/Kardon speakers sound great. At 17.3" and 6.6 lbs, it's not exactly a unit to carry around every day, but the portability is a plus and it's great on the desktop.
