The Portege Z835-P360 Ultrabook 13.3" Notebook Computer (Silver) from Toshiba is a thin and lightweight portable notebook computer. It has a 13.3" TruBrite display with a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, the standard for HDTVs. The 1366 x 768 native resolution is supported by integrated mobile Intel HD graphics. This Toshiba notebook has a HDMI port so you can connect to a larger external display, such as a HD monitor or HDTV.
The system is powered by a dual-core 1.4GHz Intel Core i3-2367M processor. It also comes with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 128GB solid state drive, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, an integrated webcam and microphone. The built-in stereo speakers are supported with MaxxAudio LE technology. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.

Initially, my search criteria was light and portable with out being too compact which landed me here. However, I am not only continually impressed with the light weight but also the functionality of this excellent laptop. Not only is start up and processing very fast, but the unit is so quiet, both fan and keyboard. I mainly use my laptop for online functions and word processing so I value the SSD for speed more than, as some people have mentioned, disk space.
The only, and it is a little thing, that I would change is having a volume control on the keyboard instead of having to mouse over to the control setting.
Overall, a highly recommended laptop.
