Sensei BL-014 Overview

The large red Bulb Air-Blower from Sensei is a silicone blower used to remove dust and dirt particles. The hard ABS plastic nozzle directs a stream of air exactly where you want it to go. This blower even works with particles that stick due to static electricity. The bulb contains no harmful chemicals making it environmentally friendly. The air inlet is designed to prevent air from backing up into the nozzle, clogging it with dirt.

The nozzle is detachable and the base features a suction cup that makes the unit freestanding. In addition, there are two built-in eyelets on the base of the bulb that can be used to attach the blower to a strap. You clean the blower with water and allow it to air dry.

Works and perform perfectly, I wish they had more color options like neon colors. Which would make it easier to find in your bag or luggage.

does it make a whistle sound? looking for one that is silent.

Hi... It is hard to tell, it certainly makes a sound when pushed hard, and when it inflates back it makes a noticeable sipping sound, although, not as loud as others that I use that have a valve at the back that makes them recover quickly, those valves create a whistle-like noise.

Besides the color, is there any difference between the black and red blower? Is it the same materials and durometer rubber?

I only have the red one so I can't compare. The red is rubber and the white is hard plastic. It does what it is supposed to very well.

How does it compare with the Giottos rocket blower? The Giottos is described as having a valve that allows only clean air to be blown out. The blower after all could suck in dust from the environment and blow it onto a camera sensor. I am wondering if Giottos has an advantage over other blowers
