The Pavilion dv7-6c90us 17.3" Notebook Computer (Dark Umber) from Hewlett Packard is a portable entertainment PC designed for people who want to bring their media with them on the road. The 17.3" HD+ widescreen display features LED backlighting and HP BrightView technology. The 1600 x 900 native resolution is powered by a hybrid AMD Radeon HD 7470M graphics card with 1GB of dedicated memory and up to 4GB of total graphics memory.
Beats Audio is exclusive to HP notebook computers and is provided through integrated quad speakers. The rear pair of speakers can tilt forward to kick the sound right at you for the ultimate listening experience. This HP notebook also has a HP TripleBass Reflex Subwoofer for added bass. Beats Audio is unlike other laptop speakers because it can eliminate electronic background noise, go from whisper quiet to blasting loud without flattening out the sound, add powerful amplifiers for full-bodied sound and a bass boost button to pump up volume even more.
This system is powered by a quad-core 2.2GHz Intel Core i7-2670QM processor. It also has 6GB of DDR3 RAM, a 1TB 5400rpm hard drive, a Blu-ray player and SuperMulti DVD burner combo optical drive, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Intel Wireless Display (WiDi), a digital media card reader, a fingerprint reader, an integrated webcam and digital microphone. Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.

While come from a dv6700, found an excellent improvement in the cooling. Coolers battery away from the supporting surface.On the other hand it is noteworthy that the keyboard is not quite comfortable to be extended.
