Leatherman Crunch Tool with Leather Case (Packaged in Clamshell)
The Crunch Tool from Leatherman contains locking pliers that fold away and make the Crunch unlike any multi-tool available today. It's like carrying a vise with you. With its 15 tools, this unit can tackle a world of problems from cutting, sawing, filing, screwing and wire stripping. There's even a 1/4" hex bit adapter built into the handle. Locking blades provide safety but can be easily released with the push of a button.

A must for your photo kit - especially in a crunch: I ran into a problem in the field when a bolt in my tripod head loosened. The screwdriver in the Crunch worked perfectly. I couldn't believe how stable its lock was - the thing didn't slip or budge a bit, even as force was applied.Admittedly had some trouble understanding how to collapse this thing into its case or unlock the screwdriver once extended, but in the end: puzzles are the most fun once you solve them!Sure wish it came with a corkscrew... ;-)
