International Orders*The Waldorf PPG Wave 3.V Upgrade is for anybody that already owns the PPG Wave 2.V Synthesizer plug-in or Waldorf Edition. The 3.V is based on the legendary PPG Wave Synthesizer from the 1980's. Originally designed by Wolfgang Palm, the synth influenced a generation of musicians and producers. Besides owning an actual PPG, the next best thing is Waldorf's PPG Wave 3.V plug-in. It's compatible with either Mac or PC and it works easily for every VST or AU Host. Offering even more than the original, it lets you switch between several versions of the classic synthesizer, including the PPG Wave 2.2, PPG Wave 2.3 and PPG Wave 2.V.
The plug-in supports up to 256 voices of polyphony and each voice affords two Wavetable oscillators for developing sounds. Plus, you can playback with 8, 12 or 32-bit resolution. There's a low pass filter, four-band EQ, overdrive, LFO and three envelope generators. You can control 8 voices with separate semitone adjustments. And, the Multimode offers 8 stereo outputs for use in the studio or when using the plug-in live. As an added bonus, the 3.V plug-in features the exact same user-interface as the original PPG - complete with the "Analog Control Panel" design and updated MIDI regulation as well.
