Equipped with dual 3.0" full-range neodymium drivers, the take-anywhere Altec Lansing IMT620 inMotion Classic Portable Speaker System for iPhone & iPod combines portability and power with a stylish modern aesthetic. The single universal iPod/iPhone dock is centrally located and compatible with several iPod and iPhone models. It charges your iPod/iPhone while docked or playing. Plus, it will actually pause the music automatically when your iPhone receives a call. There's a high-contrast LCD display, as well as a digital FM tuner with station presets. For connecting alternate MP3 players, portable DVD/CD players and laptops, the IMT620 features an auxiliary stereo line-in jack.
The clear, high-quality sound is a result of Altec Lansing's Audio Alignment function, which delivers balanced and optimized sound. Plus, the two full-range speakers produce a pure sparkling high-end, as well as surprisingly deep, rich bass tones. The system is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which affords up to five hours of music between charges. The IMT620 also features interference-free technology, which means there's no need to switch to "Airplane Mode" when flying. For added convenience, it comes with a full-feature remote control. Plus, the tuck away handle doubles as a kickstand for the system.

It's a decent product. Rechargable battery only lasts around 4 hours. FM reception weak. But it has good sound and is a good size.

The Altec docking station hits the mark. Small portable but with big sound. Sounds equally great playing jazz, rock or reggae. Remarkable sound for a small player. We use it in the shop,around the yard (battery power)and for travel.
