Comments about Fiio E17 USB DAC Headphone Amplifier:
The Fiio E17 is my constant audio companion. At home it is my USB link between my MacBook with a terrible designed headphone jack that pops out any 3.5mm plug just by looking at it. With the USB connection there are no more worries and the sound is amazing. On my drive to and from work it is my sound system with my iPod. Beautiful separation and clean amplification. At work it is used again as a Digital Analog Converter with my MacBook Pro that was abused in another life and the audio motherboard is shorted, so now the E17 provides my audio connection there, too. It is a simple fundamental design that performs like a true champ. It is my sound system between my computers and iPods / iPad and power amps in the Planetarium. Thank you, Fiio, for designing and building such a wonderful device, and thank you, B&H, for carrying it at such a great price and making it available here in the states.

It took a while to get my pre-ordered E17, but it well worth waiting.
This gadget is beautifully designed, well assembled and sounds fantastic. To get something near like E17 from other brands, you will spend much, much more.
Highly recommended!
