The Aspire One 722 AO722-0652 11.6" Netbook Computer (Aquamarine) from Acer features a unique "water ripple" pattern design and an aquamarine blue finish. Just 1" thin and around 3 pounds, this Acer netbook is easy to carry around while you're on the go. The 6-cell battery sits flush into the chassis, which further streamlines this Acer netbook's look. It also provides up to 7 hours of battery life on a single charge so you can stay mobile.
The 11.6" CineCrystal widescreen display is backlit with LED lamps, which use less power and provide better picture quality than their CCFL counterparts. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and its 1366 x 768 native resolution is supported by integrated AMD Radeon HD 6290 graphics, which can dedicate up to 256MB of system memory.
The system is powered by a dual-core 1.0GHz AMD Fusion C-60 processor. It also has 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB 5400rpm hard drive, a multi-in-1 media card reader, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, an integrated webcam and digital microphone. I purchased this Acer netbook for travel. I owned a full-size HP laptop that was slow and heavy. This netbook weighs about 3 lbs, has a full-size keyboard,and has plenty of speed (4 gigs of RAM)and storage (500 GB). Current prices for a 15.4 inch laptop with similar RAM and HD are well over $450. Smaller netbooks do not have this much RAM and storage. After extensive research and comparisons, I was specifically looking for this color with 4 GB DDR3 memory, 500 GB HDD and the AMD C-60 dual core processor. So far, I am very happy with my selection. The color is gorgeous. The graphics are amazing. This netbook includes the 2010 MS Office Starter, that has Word and EXCEL. You can purchase the full 2010 Office package, but these features are the two tools that I use the most. The touchpad is pretty cool as well. I have always used a laptop touchpad, rather than an external mouse,so I am quite used to using one, but I found the scroll function on this ACER netbook to be superior to my old HP laptop. I also like the multi-gesture function on this touchpad, but it took me a while to get used to it. I had purchased a wireless external mouse, but I often forget to use it. If I was doing a lot of browsing or editing, I would probably use the wireless mouse more often. The only thing that would be better is longer battery life. The netbook's 6-cell battery lasts about 6 to 7 hours versus the 8 hours mentioned in the product description. Also, when I tried to install the printer driver for my HP photosmart (it wasn't on the list provided by Windows printer Wizard), I discovered that I also had to install a patch for the AMD-C60 processor. Nevertheless, I would buy this netbook again, in a heart beat!

I had an Acer aspire 1 and loved it. Unfortunately, I think I let it get too hot while traveling and it gave up the ghost. However, I loved the size and functionality of it enough to buy another of the same thing. I also was very happy with B&H as the seller of this product. It came quickly and just as described in their online ad.

I chose the Aspire One 722-652 Netbook based on other reviews and have to say I am very pleased with it. It has a clear display and I have found it to be very responsive. I like the full sized keyboard. I tried a tablet but the touch screen typing drove me crazy.

Got this for the wife, who insisted on a netbook for the size. It is the perfect blend of notebook power, but with the smaller size and great battery life.
Only complaint is that the Trackpad is ultra sensitive and it's easy to move the cursor while typing

I am not a fan of the tablets. I needed a keyboard that was attached to the monitor. I wanted something small and compact that I could carry around if I needed to. I am a student of on line classes and this is perfect for posting and surfing the net. I was told that netbooks were not being made, guess they were wrong.

I take this laptop to school everyday and it is very light. I never notice any lag, even when playing 2 videos at the same time and doing homework. The one thing I dislike is the charger because it's too bulky, but the battery is great for a netbook that has this much power. Overall an excellent buy

I use it to play HD video content via the HDMI output. Sound and picture quality is excellent. Plug & play works well, it detected that my old Samsung plasma couldn't run full HD and adjusted the output.
I recently purchsed a DAC and the Acer Aspire One it is now our primary music source now (when we are not travelling).
We will take it away travelling, so we will take cables so we have our video and music content with us.
The SD card slot is perfect for me to back up my photos whilst travelling and the screen quality is actually good enough for me to do some basic editing too.
With 4G RAM and 500G harddrive this little dual core netbook is a perfect travelling companion.
I need to mention the full size keyboard - it's perfect!

i happen to be one of the few that think that netbooks are awesome. I prefer the portability and don't mind the smaller screen, but still want an almost full size keyboard. i think the fact that this netbook has 4Gs of memory really sets it apart from all the other budget netbooks with 2G and even 1G memory.

We love the new computer. It is fast, small, light and powerful. We were looking for a netbook and found plenty more. We like that it has a 500 Gb hard drive so we can use it as another backup source (you can never backup your files enough). The screen is bright and the computer is quiet. No complaints, right out of the box. And to top it off, the computer came two days after we ordered it. Very quick service.

I use mainly for email and web surfing. Small size but has very good RAM for size. Great display resolution, also. I have been using over a week now and don't really have anything negative to say, except it gets a little warm on your lap after a half hour or more. Not really anything you can't put up with. I would recommend this little guy for anyone that needs a sleek, nimble machine with plenty of power and RAM to power it.

Bought two weeks ago and used it in the United States(Maryland) and took it home(Netherlands) for work and private.
No interuptions and flawless internet. Installing Office right now. Works fine.
Things I like on this netbook is the combination of screensize, looks(blue color), performance, memory(RAM and storage) and possibilities compared to its price.
Usage time is a bit short to find negative topics, but a European power adapter would be nice if included and a fingerprint recognition to logon.
Up till now I'm very satisfied, also the delivery and service of B&H.
Bought it with an external Asus CD/DVD player. Very good!

OK, first off, it's not a quad-core rocket. If you're looking for a gamer PC, this isn't it. But it's much, much faster than my previous Netbook. It connects quickly to wi-fi, it opens programs quickly, it has a decent screen, a large hard drive, and more than enough memory to perform its intended task.
Thinks I really like:
Normal-sized keyboard
500 GB hard drive
Windows 7 64-bit
4 Gig of RAM
Fast connection to network
Slightly larger screen than my previous netbook
7+ hour battery life
Things I'm not as happy about:
Nothing major, just little annoyances...
No Cap-Lock light
Had to get rid of a little bloatware (though not bad)
Like most laptops, the screen contrast varies with the angle of view.
