Comments about Petrol PS615 Deca Audio Pouch for Zoom H4n and Tascam DR-40/DR-100:
I use this with a Tascam DR-100mkII, and it's a pretty snug fit. The clear plastic screen on the front allows you to access many of the features. It fits snugly on my belt, and as a documentary filmmaker, that provides a nice added level of flexibility. I usually use the XLR outputs on the Tascam, and they're accessible through the bottom of this pouch (though again, the fit is extremely snug). Some problems I've noticed:1) It's almost impossible to spin the front dial on the DR-100mkII through the plastic screen.2) Cannot access buttons on the back of the recorder through the fabric.3) Some of the fabric on this pouch covers the top portion of the screen.4) [$]seems a pretty high price for cloth and plastic.Problems 1) and 2) aren't a big deal if you set everything up before you begin recording. Problems 3) and 4) are somewhat more annoying.

Comments about Petrol PS615 Deca Audio Pouch for Zoom H4n and Tascam DR-40/DR-100:
The DR-40 fits into okay and any cables you might want to plug in will fit but I couldn't find a way to attach it to my mixer bag that would result in a usable combination so I returned it. It would probably work fine if you need something to afix to a belt.

Comments about Petrol PS615 Deca Audio Pouch for Zoom H4n and Tascam DR-40/DR-100:
I bought this so that I could wear my Zoom H4N or Sony PCM D-50 on my belt while shooting video with my 7D. It works great and offers protection from the rain and bumps. High quality construction. Perfect accessory for these recorders.
Comments about Petrol PS615 Deca Audio Pouch for Zoom H4n and Tascam DR-40/DR-100:
I bought this "pouch" for my Zoom H4n. It fits VERY well. It is apparent that this case was designed for the H4n (unlike other brands). It has elastic sides, that provide a snug fit. Almost every button, input and output are accessible. Three things are covered by the case... the menu button (but it's still clickable through the elastic band that covers it), the REAR 3.5mm mic jack, and the bottom power input.
The rear mic input is totally covered, so be warned if you rely on this input. As for the bottom power input... you may be able to force the band that blocks this port over, and squeeze in your DC power, but I haven't tried it yet. That can be a big deal for some, although I personally run on batteries most of the time.
The clear (nylon?) front is not too thick, making it easy to press the bottons on the H4n.
