The Cascade Microphones Knuckle Head Ribbon Microphone combines the acoustic components of the successful Fat Head ribbon microphone, with an aesthetic reminiscent of early broadcast microphones. The 2.5 micron ribbon transducer is situated symmetrically within the magnetic gap, making the Knuckle Head well suited as a mid microphone in an M/S stereo setup. Neodymium magnets attribute to the Knuckle Heads heightened sensitivity and the Lundahl Transformer output stage yields low noise floor, and transparent audio quality.
