Nord Drum 4-Channel Analog Drum Synthesizer

The Nord Drum by Nord is a four channel analog drum synthesizer filled with inspiring electronic percussion sounds from the past, present and future. Designed with live performance in mind, the Nord Drum features a mono 1/4" output and four, highly sensitive 1/4" inputs for electronic drum pads or acoustic drum triggers. Each of the four channels has three sound generating sections (Tone, Noise and Click) and a mixer to set the balance of each.

The Tone section allows you to choose between sine, saw or square waveforms and adds Filter and Sweep effects to enhance the sounds. Punch adds a short velocity-controlled attack to the sounds and Decay controls the tone length. The pitch is set in quartertones from B1 to D7 and Bend brings a tone up or down in pitch when triggered.

The Noise section lets you add texture to your sound and produces noise ranging anywhere from grainy rumbles to adjustable, silky white noise. Each noise can be run through a neutral low-pass filter or one of the six resonant filters. Then use the Sweep to control the amount and time of the filter envelope. The noise decay can be gated (soft/hard) or set to gradually fade out. What's more, the specialized Click section adds attack to the sound. Choose from twenty-seven click types and adjust the length of the click with the Decay and Gate parameters.
