The XPS 14z X14Z-6923SLV 14" Notebook Computer (Silver) from Dell is a 14" notebook computer with a slim design and an anodized aluminum body. Its 14" edge-to-edge display features a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, which has native support for 720p HD video playback. It is backlit by energy-efficient LED lamps and boasts Dell's TrueLife technology. Built-in Bluetooth 3.0+HS technology allows you to connect your favorite peripherals while 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi support makes it easy to stay connected without the hassle of cables.
The system supports Intel's Wireless Display (WiDi) technology. This allows you to output video to an HDTV without having to connect a cable to it. You'll need an HDTV and an Intel WiDi-compliant TV adapter (sold separately) that will accept media that is streamed from your computer.
The system is powered by a dual-core 2.8GHz Intel Core i7-2640M processor, which can be overclocked to 3.5GHz, thanks to Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. It is loaded with 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a 750GB 7200rpm hard drive, a multi-in-1 media card reader and a SuperMulti DVD burner. An integrated 1.3MP webcam as well as a built-in microphone allows for online video chat. This Dell notebook also has built-in stereo speakers which provide good sound quality. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
