The Nikon MB-10 Multi-Power Vertical Grip adds dimension to the bottom of the N90s, making the grip larger without adding excessive weight. It enables the vertical holding of the N90s to be more comfortable and useful, providing a vertical shutter release button. The MB-10's quick-change battery clip easily slides in and out for fast power changes & accommodates either four AA-type batteries with the included MS-10 battery tray or two three-volt lithium cells using the optional MS-11 battery tray.
Also available is an optional Nicad Battery pack (NB-100) & Charger (NC-100).
Note: Also compatible with the original N90 model, but Vertical Shutter Release on the grip does not work with it.

With the MB-10 Vertical Grip handling the Nikon N90s is much more rewarding. It just feels more comfortable and allows a more professional feel to the camera.

Once I attached the MB-10 to my Nikon N90s my ability to hold and shoot photographs dramatically improved. I feel much more comfortable shooting with the MB-10 attached, so much so I see no need to ever remove it. In fact I am currently seeking another MB-10 to attach to my back-up camera.

The grip makes the camera easier to hold especially with heavy lenses like my 80-200 f2.8 zoom. Vertical shots are also easier to make.
The camera looks professional and the grip is easy to install and lighter than I thought it would be.
The grip is light because it is made out of plastic and does not have the same sturdy feel as the solid body of the N90s. Overall, a good addition.
