I bought this card for use in a Nikon D4 and also bought the Lexar Professional ExpressCard reader. Speed testing from card to computer with the ExpressCard reader is 96MB/s read and 75MB/s write. The limitation is most likely the reader as there isn't a UDMA7 firmware update available for it like the USB 3.0 reader. Still, the card is incredibly fast in camera and extends the number of shots before hitting the buffer limit significantly. In camera, it is the fastest CF card by a good margin when compared to all other CF cards available at the moment.

I bought this for the D800, and in terms of performance it works well, faster than other cards I tried.
I am disappointed however, that the card failed once in use as it became nearly full. Thinking being full was the cause, I swapped cards and continued shooting.
Then nearly empty it failed again. The card was replaced under warranty (with the delay of obtaining an RMA, shipping, etc. almost a month gone). Lexar provided no feedback at all on the failure, I received a card back (in fact I can only HOPE it was a new card and not the same one).
All memory can fail, and I am reluctant to criticize this particular card for one failure, but this is the ONLY CF card I have ever had fail, and also my first Lexar card, and an acceptable but not really good showing on their support. Hopefully not representative, but consider it a data point.

Comments about Lexar 16GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 1000x UDMA:
I never realized how big a difference a fast card makes until I tried to use one of my older 300x speed ones not too long ago. It really created a lag between shots. This one will keep up with the huge files of my Canon 1ds Mark 3 and my 5d Mark 3 no problem. I have also always had the most luck with Lexar CF cards. Very consistent, durable and reliable.

This 16GB 1000x card replaces the 16GB 200x card I've been using in my Canon 7D and am loving it. Shooting in .jpg the camera never slows down. In Raw it slows to three shot bursts.
Transferring from the card to the computer works well with my new Lexar USB3 card reader. (I had to upgrade because the old card reader didn't like this card)

Comments about Lexar 16GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 1000x UDMA:
I shoot a lot of action sports, so I need a fast writing card. I just shot a professional ski race, and was blown away by how this card kept up with the 10 fps of my 1dMk3. Not only did it keep up, but it allowed me to shoot more consecutive shots (in RAW) at that rate. I would HIGHLY recommend this card if you need a card to keep up with a high fps rate camera.

Compared to my non udma enabelled 133x card, this is faster, I ended up taking 56 tiff files in 2 min and 45 sec vs the old card taking 46 in the same time. It does allow me to take more for sure. Except for the price, this is a great card. Just for the price to performance, I could have had a few cards at this price and would still get by just fine.

Comments about Lexar 16GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 1000x UDMA:
I often bracket multiple images on continuous high on my Nikon D3 in order to use with HDR software. Lexar cards are extremely dependable, and this card is very fast. This saves me time when taking images and when downloading to my computer. I have used Lexar cards for almost ten years, and I've never had a problem with them.

Comments about Lexar 16GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 1000x UDMA:
I bought this card to use in my D4, "when it finally ever gets released"
So currently I am using it in my D3s and it works very well.
I compared it with my other Lexar 600X and 60Gb/S Sandisk cards and found it is about 15% more effective for write speed and the buffer.
