Wildlife photography requires speed and this 1000x does the job better than my older 133 and 400 cards. When the buffer is full this card makes a significant difference.

Comments about Lexar 32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 1000x UDMA:
I bought this card specifically for my Canon 5D MkIII. Wow. Just... WOW! I need to shoot extended sequences at full speed in RAW and this card not only allows the MkIII to capture *far* more shots in the initial 6fps burst than specified (anything from 26 frames, to more than 34, depending on scene content), the buffer clearing speed is so fast that it can be hard to pick when it actually slows down. It's really something!
However... note that this only applies to cameras with enough processing "horsepower" to make use of the card speed. For example in a 7D you don't get any more shots in an 8fps burst compared to a 90x Sandisk Extreme Pro, but it does clear faster. Same goes for a D700 (in this case the Lexar 1000x does not perform any better than a Sandisk Ducati Edition, though again the buffer clears faster). In those cases the bottleneck is in the camera, not the card, and even a 60x card is more than enough. It may make a difference if you shoot in JPG at max. speed though.
Bottom line: if you have a 5D MkIII and even *suspect* you might need to use the full speed capability of the camera, you owe it to yourself to get this card!

Large capacity, fast, and reliable. With the D800, it would be the smallest size I recommend.

Gearing up for my new Canon 5D Mark III, this card was a must. Increasing capacity is great, but performance is just as important. This card has both and is now my primary shooting card.

Watched the video on how this card was made, and it was amazing. The card lives up to the claims in the video. It is super fast and will hold an incredible amount of pictures. Please note, I do not shoot in RAW (yet). I haven't found any weakness in the card.

Comments about Lexar 32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 1000x UDMA:
Very, very noticeably adds to the burst rate of the 5D mark III.
Tested a 600x card and got around 13 pics in the buffer but went to around 33 and then it only starts slowing down a bit. Far beyond the 18 Canon promises.
