For a camera that does it all, and makes it look easy, it's hard to beat Nikon's Coolpix L810 Digital Camera (Blue). You get a high resolution 16.1MP sensor, a sharp Nikon 26x zoom lens that will carry you from a very wide-angle 22.5mm all the way to ultra telephoto 585mm (equivalent in 35mm format)--there's really no type of photography (landscape, portraits, parties, travel, wildlife, sports, etc.) that isn't possible with this range. And with optical image stabilization and sensitivity up to 1600 ISO, you'll get sharp pictures every time, even in low light or using the longest telephoto setting.
Of course, 1280 x 720 HD video is included, with stereo sound--all you need to do is touch one button and you're shooting beautiful video without making any adjustments. A bright, high-resolution (921K dots) 3" LCD display helps you capture and view great images under any lighting conditions.
Other great features include modes that automatically detect and photograph a smile, warn you when your subject blinks, and correct redeye automatically. 19 Scene modes adjust the camera settings for different common photo situations.

- Try something new and shoot either stills or movies in different colors such as Nostalgic Sepia for an old fashioned look or Black and White for a vintage feel. You can also choose various color options such as Standard, Vivid or Cyanotype. Add a touch of creativity to your next photo or movie project.
- Easy Auto and a Host of Scene Modes
- Keep it simple. Let the camera determine the best settings for the job with Easy Auto Mode, including pre-programmed settings for Portrait, Night Portrait, Landscape, Night Landscape and Close-up. When set, the camera will automatically recognize the scene and optimize the camera settings to capture the best shot.
- Make Everyone Look Great
- Use Nikon's Smart Portrait System with Smile Timer, a mode that automatically recognizes when a subject is smiling. Also included are Blink Warning and Red-Eye Fix. Use the Skin Softening feature to perfect complexion imperfections.
