Comments about Eiko ECT-LN Lamp (500W/120V):
Buy several of these. You can never have enough.
They soften the actors to a high quality professional level.
I've bought several of these over the yrs. and only two have gone out withen the first hour. However, one of them has lasted for more than two years when I use it off and on. Always get a back-up.

Comments about Eiko ECT-LN Lamp (500W/120V):
This is a great inexpensive sunlight-balanced bulb for lighting indoor video and photography. I also use two for shooting high quality images of my flat artwork. The only downside is that the run really hot and have a short lifespan.

Comments about Eiko ECT-LN Lamp (500W/120V):
I have had great luck with these bulbs. I like to use bulbs, since I use a dimmer. The bulbs last longer than spec'ed....so that's a plus.
Very fragile though, so use with care.

Comments about Eiko ECT-LN Lamp (500W/120V):
I put it in the fixture and turned it on and it blew. That fast. I got zero use out of the bulb. Being a [$] item I didn't even report it to B&H. But I did order another bulb from B&H...a $6.00 GE! Haven't received the GE yet. Hopefully it will last longer than zero seconds.
