The Audio-Technica AE-6100/LE 50th Anniversary Edition Vocal Microphone is a custom version of the coveted AE-6100/LE handheld microphone, commemorating 50 years of quality microphones from Audio-Technica. The AE-6100/LE features a custom silver metallic finish, blue accents and etched serial number. The microphone delivers pristine signal reproduction with detailed articulation and low noise floor. The dynamic capsule features high Sound Pressure Level (SPL) handling, minimizing noise caused by fast transients and signal peak distortion.
The hypercardioid polar pattern makes the AE-6100/LE an ideal choice for use around monitor speakers and adjacent instruments, as it provides maximum rejection of feed-back and off-axis audio signal. The AE-6100/LE features a frequency response that accentuates vocals by adding the intelligibility needed to cut through a mix. The rugged construction features internal shock protection and a steel wind screen that protects against noise caused by plosives.
