The paprika-colored Crosley CR704 Musician Entertainment Center is a tabletop turntable with built-in AM/FM radio, speakers, CD player, and cassette deck. It features an auxiliary input for sharing the audio from other devices. The eye-catching design combines an old-fashioned radio dial flanked by tuning and volume knobs above a digital LCD readout and compact disc drawer.
3-Speed Record Player
The turntable accommodates 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm records. A spindle adapter is included for fitting into the larger hole of a 45 single. At the end of the record, the turntable stops automatically. You return the tone arm to its perch manually.
Behind the decorative grille on the front and sides are a pair of 3 x 5" 8ohm 5-watt speakers (10 watts of total power). Since the width of the system is 17-inches, the speakers are spaced sufficiently apart to provide true stereo separation.
Press the open/close button for loading a single disc in the CD drawer. You'll be able to program up to 20 tracks, among other options.
Hidden on the side of the system is a cassette door. Once you slide in a tape, you can leverage the same front button controls otherwise used for playing a CD.
The rotating knob lets you set the dial to the desired station. An FM antenna is attached to the back of the unit. For AM reception the units contain a directional build-in ferrite antenna.
Connects to Optional Equipment
Using the system's line input, you can connect a portable music player, tablet or other device to take advantage of the larger speakers.
