The Moshi Cardette Ultra Advanced Card Reader With USB Hub is a fast, high-performance memory card reader. Featuring a sleek, silver aluminum exterior providing a nice complement to iMacs and MacBooks, the Cardette Ultra has a built-in cable and dual-port USB 2.0 hub.
It supports UDMA (Universal Direct Memory Access) and SDXC (Secure Digital Extended Capacity) memory cards, as well as all other existing memory card standards: CompactFlash (CF Type I), all series of Memory Stick (MS, MS Duo, MS PRO Duo), M2, MultiMediaCard (MMC), Secure Digital (SD), micro SD / TF, eXtremeDigital (xD-Picture), and Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC). Furthermore, it offers all this support with a mere 3 slots, meaning you'll have no trouble at all identifying the proper slot for your card. An adapter (not included) is required for miniSD card support. The reader is equipped with the sophisticated memory controller IC, making it compatible with next-generation, high-speed, high-capacity cards.
For your convenience, the Cardette Ultra links to your Mac or PC via USB 2.0, drawing its power directly from your computer--so you need no external power adapters. Thanks to dual USB 2.0 ports, you gain an extra port while you're plugged in. Benefit from power and data access indicators.
