With HD 1080p resolution and the power of Google, the 55G2 55" Class Cinema 3D LED Google TV from LG Electronics lets you tap into the virtual limitless possibilities of accessing movies, shows and info directly from the Internet. Quickly find what's on with thumbnail previews of every show being aired by your cable provider and see all available on-demand content, TV shows, movies or sports on one device.
The 55G2 yields images that truly show off any source material, be it Blu-ray movies, cable TV, Internet, or video games. LG's proprietary technologies also ensure that whatever you're watching comes across in rich, detailed color. LG's 2D-to-3D conversion feature can turn everything from cinema classics to sports to your TV favorites into larger-than-life 3D. It's in with the old and in with the new.
The 55G2 includes four HDMI and two component inputs for high-definition devices and a PC input which lets you use the set as a computer monitor. The USB inputs allow you to display photo slideshows and share MP3 audio files with your friends. In addition, the built-in ATSC / QAM / NTSC tuners receive virtually all available local digital and analog programs.
Lastly, gamers can enjoy two-player gaming on the 55G2 without the need for a split screen. Now two players can compete against one another independently and catch the action on a full screen.
