The Tiffen Dfx Video/Film Filter Plug-In V3.0 is a suite of 121 digital optical filters that can be customized to simulate over 2000 Tiffen glass camera filters, specialized lenses, optical lab processes, film grain, exacting color correction as well as natural light and photographic effects.
The suite can be used for film and video editing, including visual effects editing. One license will run across all compatible programs, which consist of Adobe After Effects and Premiere CS5 and up, Avid Media Composer, Newscutter, Symphony, and Xpress Pro, and Apple Final Cut Pro 6 or 7. In early 2012, Final Cut Pro X is not supported but is being looked into by Tiffen.
The Dfx is compatible with both Macs and PCs (please click on "Specifications" tab above for tech-requirements).

- Match: matches color, detail, gradient, and tone of an image and applies it to another
- DeBand: removes banding artifacts by smoothing pixels in banded areas but retains detail
