The AverMedia 16-channel NEH1116HN Hybrid DVR records as well as plays back videos at the same time, and allows several independent users to remotely view content. It runs on the virus-free Embedded Linux operating system. Out of its 16 channels, the DVR allows connection of up to 4 IP cameras, and supports more than 50 brands of IP cameras.
Resolution/frame rates can be individually adjusted for all analog channels. H.264 compression helps reduce video file sizes without compromising on the quality and integrity of images. In addition, the DVR uses hardware compression that helps improve speed and efficiency by using minimal CPU and RAM resources. The NEH1116HN Hybrid DVR comes with an easy-to-understand interface that helps reduce training time. With simple point-and-click access, you can view live video recordings and search for previously set alarms. You can also view videos over the Internet via several devices including a Windows Mobile phone, iPhone, BlackBerry, laptop, or a remote computer.
Up to 32 user accounts can be managed by the NEH1116HN Hybrid DVR, with each account having its own password and user privileges (operation, control, and remote access). In case of network failure and video loss, the system will continually try to reconnect to the DVR until the signal is restored. Images and videos can be exported to .jpg and .dvr formats, respectively. Backup data can be stored in either a USB, external HDD, or RAID-enabled device.
