The 14.4 TB Galaxy LX6 NAS System (Low-Profile Configuration) from Rorke Data is a cost-effective and powerful storage system, designed to meet the demanding requirements of mission-critical and data-intensive applications. Powered by a quad-core Intel Xeon processor and 48 GB of RAM, this Galaxy LX6 Server provides fast and efficient performance. Featuring a 6 Gbps SAS RAID controller, the Galaxy LX6 Server offers support for RAID 0, 1, 3, 5, and 6. Using the Snapshot feature, you can create images of specified data files for easy recovery of deleted or inconsistent data.
The Galaxy LX6 server features iSCSI target support for storing data over a LAN. Integrated Symantec Client agents allow for backup of critical NAS data over a network. In addition, the Galaxy LX6 server also supports FTP and HTTP downloads for large files. An easy-to-use GUI allows you to quickly set up and manage the LX6 server. Moreover, it is compatible with Windows, Apple OS X, Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
