The Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 Slip Sleeve Package is a video editing software package that comes on a CD delivered in a slip sleeve. The package is comprised of Vegas Movie Studio HD and DVD Architect Studio for Blu-ray Disc and DVD authoring. Featured are innovative stereoscopic 3D, video compositing, color correction, and soundtrack creation tools, as well as a unique Sony Show Me How tutorial system.
With Vegas, you can drag and drop various types of files directly onto the timeline and work with them without re-wrapping or transcoding them. An extensive list of formats is supported, including HDV and AVCHD. You can work with SD and HD in the same timeline. Vegas is furthermore flexible in that for common workflows, it requires minimal PC system requirements, such as only a 2 GHz processor.
Version 11 introduces stereoscopic 3D editing and lets you make stereoscopic 3D projects as easily as 2D projects. Also, in addition to effects, you can add animations to your text events with the Titles & Text plug-in that features an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. Hundreds of 2D and 3D video effects, titles and filters are available. An advanced automated color-correction tool lets you improve washed-out footage. And a video stabilization feature allows you to salvage shaky media.
The included DVD Architect Studio enables you to create professional-looking DVDs and Blu-ray discs. You can choose from full-screen or wide-screen format options with menus, titles, special features, and music. In addition to 56 beautifully-designed DVD themes with coordinated menu buttons, Architect Studio allows you to import images and graphics to make custom themes.
