The Bosch Security Systems BRS-RAC2-8100A 8-Channel Recording Station 2U Rackmount (8 TB) features a pre-installed Bosch Recording Station software that can record footage from up to 8 IP cameras at multiple locations. A standard PC with BRS Viewer can be used as a viewing station for video playback. With support for RAID 5, this recording station ensures the highest level of data security. In addition, this system provides live viewing and recording of surveillance videos at a resolution of up to 2048 x 1536 pixels.
Designed as a centralized remote management system, the recording station tower offers easy access to all the information, regardless of whether you are on-site or at a remote network location. You can retrieve live and recorded video across the entire network. The built-in scalable GUI (graphical user interface) allows you to view live/recorded images from multiple remote locations on a single PC. This enables security managers to monitor and supervise multiple locations simultaneously, even if remote stations are connected via WAN. For enhanced security, multiple user authorization levels can be used to set individual permissions for each user determining the system access rights.
The recording software supports individual configuration of parameters such as camera viewing and control, playback and export of recordings, and types of permissible system configuration settings. The recording station can be programmed to handle specific situations and events automatically. It can also respond to alarms by recording higher quality videos and transmitting alarm messages to the security workforce.
The BRS-TOW-4100A Recording Station Tower maintains a database with a log of events such as login, log-off, status changes, image transmission, video export, and system shutdown. The information stored in the database can be easily transferred to MS Excel.
This versatile IP video solution can also be interfaced with a range of security and building management systems such as fire and access panels, ATM and POS terminals, and number plate capture and video content analysis solutions. Built on a reliable platform, this 8-channel recording station tower manages an entire surveillance infrastructure and is an ideal solution for distributed network environments.
