The ikan IB508 Dual Color LED Studio Light is a cool-running, dimmable (100 - 10%) LED light that uses very little power and can be operated on AC power or on DC power with optional 7.4 - 14.8V batteries or the 2 included L series Sony-type batteries. Adaptability is key to the design of the IB 508. Instead of having you choose between a daylight or tungsten balanced light or deal with cumbersome gel filters, ikan includes 3200K and 5600K LEDs in the same panel. Respond to the prevailing color temperature by setting the IB508 to either setting or any temperature between them. The IB508 is rated at 1,227 lux at 3.0' or the equivalent of 200W of tungsten output at 5,600K. A stand mount, diffuser, and multi-voltage AC adapter and multi-voltage battery charger are also included. It all fits in the kit's carrying case.
Note! Due to the way the Sony L 500 Series and 300 series batteries are designed, Sony MP-F330/F570/F550 batteries will not work on the left battery slot of the IB 508
