Giottos' VGR9255-S2N 5-Section Aluminum Tripod/Monopod with Ballhead boldly goes forth exploring a new frontier that any photographer will cheer--designing a solid professional tripod that folds down to a manageable size. This aluminum support will extend to 5.4' (1.65 m), but its minimum working height is only 10.6", and it folds down to 15.8". Although it weighs just 3.3 lbs, it can support up to 8.8 lbs. The included MH5310 quick-release ballhead has bubble levels and is Arca-compatible.
Plus, one leg of the tripod combined with the center column converts to a monopod that extends to 5.58'. The 5 tripod leg sections use a quick twist-lock design, and the tripod accepts optional accessory spiked feet for use on rough terrain.
