The ACTi PPOE-4000 PoE Injector (Australia) allows you to deliver remote power to PTZ IP cameras through a CAT5 cable. By using a single cable to carry data and power, camera installation is no longer limited to areas that are close to a power outlet. The PPOE-4000 Injector makes it possible to install cameras on ceilings and rooftops, in hallways and numerous other environments where running electrical wiring is too cumbersome or expensive.
- For providing remote power to a PTZ camera by injecting IEEE 802.3af PoE onto Cat 5 or comparable network cabling
- Allows a single cable to carry data and power
- Allows you to install the camera anywhere, even in areas that do not have power cabling and outlets
