The Mobotix M12D-IT Dual Lens Day & Night Camera (135mm Day & 135mm Night Lens) features 2 integrated image sensors. Depending on the illumination, this camera automatically selects either the color or the light sensitive B/W image sensor with the included lenses to record the images.
This camera offers up to 8x zoom that brings distant objects up to 8 times closer without compromising on clarity, while creating minimal network load and supports resolutions of up to 640 x 480 pixels. Along with bi-directional audio and video motion detection, this camera also incorporates a passive IR sensor. The Ethernet, ISDN and RS232 interfaces of the camera comply with current IT standards, including GSM/GPRS/UMTS (3G).
Digital zoom, panning, video motion detection, event-controlled frame rates, and freely selectable image sections reduce the storage requirements of the M12 to minimum. The integrated camera software features include alarm management with pre- and post-alarm images, FTP, email, external ring buffer storage on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X computers as well as playback and MultiView functions for up to 40 cameras on the browser. Since the camera does not require additional heating, it can be easily powered via the network connection.
